Comprehensively trained Pilates instructors and licensed health care professionals with Pilates training.

 

DESCRIPTION

This 16-hour course is designed for comprehensively trained Pilates instructors and licensed health care professionals with Pilates training.

Learn interventions in the Pilates environment that will help improve stability, alignment and power in the lower extremities, restoring function from impairment through performance. This course includes online coursework in the form of video movement demonstrations combined with the live online 2-day course.

Manual is included. Equipment is not a necessity for participants but is recommended.

OBJECTIVES

This course will address the following dysfunctions:

  • Trochanteric Bursitis
  • Iliopsoas Disorders
  • SI Joint Dysfunction
  • Piriformis Syndrome
  • Patellofemoral Syndrome
  • Chrondromalacia of the Patella
  • Pes Anserinus Bursitis
  • IT Band Syndrome
  • Osteoarthritis of the Hip & Knee
  • Knee replacements (TKA)
  • Hip Replacements (THA)
